In 1749 on September 15th, Nicolas Delon Arrival in Philadelphia on the ship Phoenix via Nassau, Zweibrucken, Wirtemburg, & Palatinate. It departed Rotterdam and made one stop at Cowes, England. This is the same route that Pierre (Peter) Delon (Delo) and his family took in 1736, thirteen years earlier.3 Threre are no records of Nicolas Delon arriving in PA with a wife or children. I think that Barbara is the first wife of Nicolas Delon born about 1720. He has a daughter named Barbara born abour 1760. Since his wife Hanna, was an heir to his estate, she would be his second wife.
